Providing school-based counseling services as indicated by IEP for at-risk children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances. Participate in IEP meetings and provide consultation for school staff to support students’ needs.

Child & Family Center
Provided outpatient and school-based therapy for children, adolescents and their families. Facilitated group therapy focused on social skills, coping skills, anger management and adolescent issues.  Collaborated with school staff to support students with special needs and IEPs.

CSUN Discovering Alternatives for Today’s Encounters (D.A.T.E.)
Developed presentation to educate college students about preventative measures to protect themselves from being victim of or perpetrator of date rape. Facilitated discussions with students to bring awareness of date rape and provided counseling referrals as needed.
